Wounded (Skyrim Song) Lyrics

After the favorable support I saw for my "Shiver me Timbers" Oblivion Pirate love song, found here, I wanted to take another shot at my song writing and came up with this little number inspired by Skyrim.

I present, Wounded.

Settle down wary traveler
and listen close to me
I once traveled for miles and miles
Till that arrow to the knee.

(Refrain)
Arrow to the knee
Arrow to the knee
Don't you underestimate
An arrow to the knee

Looking through these tired eyes
Reminds me what they see.
I once was able to do everything
But then I took an arrow to the knee.

(Refrain)
Arrow to the knee
Arrow to the knee
Don't you underestimate
An arrow to the knee.

An archer, a cook, a painter,
Those are all things I used to be
But the gods saw it fit to blessed me...
With an arrow to the knee.

(Refrain)
Arrow to the knee
Arrow to the knee
Don't you underestimate
An arrow to the knee

An Arrow (Oh an Arrow)
An Arrow (Yes an Arrow)
An Arrow (Nothing but an arrow)
To The Knee!!!

An Arrow (Oh an Arrow)
An Arrow (Yes an Arrow)
An Arrow (Nothing but an arrow)
To The Knee!!!

Now I hope you find your road
And take caution to where it leads

Because there's something worse than an arrow...
Two arrows to your knees!

An Arrow to each knee
An Arrow to each knee
You'll be guarding statues
With an arrow to each knee.
