Upgrading your PS3 Slim Hard Drive

Decided to upgrade your PS3 Hard Drive? Awesome!

I am not going to give you all the specifics, but here is a few things you need to know...

I have heard that there are some specs that you need to be aware of.

1. The internal Hard drive must be a laptop hard drive. This is important because otherwise it will not fit.
2. Don't buy any hard drive that has more than 5400 RPM because it would just be a waste of money since the PS3 wasn't designed to read anything faster.
3. You won't need any hard drive over 500GB because the PS3 was not designed to read anything above that.

If you are going to need to backup your current hard drive, the flash drive or external hard drive you are going to you will need to be formatted as an FAT.

Finally, You will need some help installing the actual hard drive.

Anyways, I hope this helps!
